Steel Sheet Pile
Steel sheet piles are long structural sections with a vertical interlocking system that creates a continuous wall. The walling is widely constructed to retain either soil or water in a particular portion or side. The capacity of the sheet pile to perform is dependent upon its geometry and the soil where is it piled.
Z-shaped sheet piles can provide a larger cross-sectional modulus at lower material costs (lower weight), which is much more economical than traditional U-shaped sheet piles. One advantage of Z-shaped sheet piles is that during the installation process, the flange of the pile will be on the same line, which will be very convenient for the installation of the surrounding beam.
